I finally got around to uploading a bunch of pictures:
Also, flickr just added the ability to tag your pictures by location. It’s really cool but a little unwieldy at the moment. It would be even cooler if you could use something like that new Sony GPS widget that can add GPS coordinates to your digital pictures.
I’ve uploaded some pictures from my recent trip to Tennessee:
Some pictures are shared between the two sets. The first set is focused on the hike in general, the second is focused on Rachel’s experience.
I’ve finished uploading my pictures from the end of 2005:
I also uploaded some older holiday pictures:
I published one of these sets as an iPhoto Photocast:
I think the Photocast idea is kind of cool but it eats up the limited space I have on my .Mac account fairly quickly. If I could store them on my other hosting service I’d put a lot more out there.
In the past couple of days I’ve uploaded three sets of holiday pictures:
Christmas Eve 2005
Christmas Day 2005
Hanukah 2005
I’m also trying something new. I’ve also uploaded all of these pictures as iPhoto Photocasts. If you have iPhoto 6.0 or above you can use the following links to add the pictures to your local iPhoto library:

I’ve got my first set of pictures from Christmas 2005 online. (I was delayed for a little while trying to get the new developer of the export software I use to fix a bug that’s been around for a while. Sadly it still isn’t fixed so I had to settle for a nasty little hack that is less wrong more often and more wrong infrequently.)
I think this one is my favorite:

I got back from Kentucky this weekend. It was a nice trip (although I was on some pretty small planes from MSP – STL – BNA). I took a few pictures during my vacation but it’ll take a little while to sort through them and get them cleaned up and labeled.
I do have a group picture of me and eighty eight of my relatives (not taken by me) and a group picture from Thanksgiving 2001 (taken by me).
I currently have the gallery index pages setup so that clicking on a thumbnail takes you directly to the picture whose thumbnail you clicked on and clicking on the title of the gallery takes you to the first page of the gallery. I’m considering changing the thumbnail behavior to match the title behavior. Does anyone care?
